9.7 has a defaul to 15% underscan set to hdmi outputs for tvs that overscan. Problem is is that the setting to go back to 0% is missing. There is a wierd way of getting to it in 9.9. Make sure you don't have something running in the background that is taking up resources. I bought a new laptop and installed WoW and it hiccuped like every few seconds like clockwork. Forget what the program was but it was something that came with the computer. May want to check.
