Re: Mxsim crashing like crazy
9.7 has a defaul to 15% underscan set to hdmi outputs for tvs that overscan. Problem is is that the setting to go back to 0% is missing. There is a wierd way of getting to it in 9.9. So I went back to it. I set up a dual boot with win7-64bit and win xp-32bit. Set up mxsim on the xp partition. Figure...

Re: Mxsim crashing like crazy
Looking at that post about the 64bit ati drivers, I definately believe that is my problem. Tried going to the older driver and it's got a bug in it I don't want to deal with where it default overscan to 15% on my monitor without a way to change it. I went back to the latest driver and been playing a...

Thanks man. This is a fresh install. I've even wiped the drive and reinstalled with only mxsim on it just to check.

Mxsim crashing like crazy
I run windows 7 and that may be the problem. I do run in compatibility mode for xp. I'm running the latest snapshot. Crashing happens everytime I play. I may get through 2 or 3 races before it happens. I have got the error window pop up saying "out of virtual memory" a few times. Most of the time it...

Re: Game Suggestions
Thank you for adding the colors to the minimap.. working great.
Just an idea.. Maybe force stability until the holeshot point. Seems just about every race there is a pile up. Just an idea.

Re: just got a new laptop
Make sure you don't have something running in the background that is taking up resources. I bought a new laptop and installed WoW and it hiccuped like every few seconds like clockwork. Forget what the program was but it was something that came with the computer. May want to check.

Re: Game Suggestions
I'd suggest making the dots on the mini-map a different color of those who have not finished the race so you're not waiting on a restart if they have decided to just sit there while others are making victory laps. One more.. Lan play. It would be awesome to be able to play this at a lan party. Oh an...

Thank you for a great game
I have been playing this game for about 6 weeks or so and I am extremely impressed. I've never played a motocross game that made me feel so close to really riding. With my financial situation, time, age, and general lacking of wanting to risk breaking bones, this game helps the addiction. So.. a big...

Re: Game Suggestions
I'd suggest changing the way the online server restarts. Seems every time I get in the front, someone votes for restart. It really is disheartening to fight to get up there and then BAM! RESTART. Maybe don't give permissions for voting if you just logged in. No voting unless you're actually in the r...

Re: Game Suggestions
I'm going to be doing the better traction model first, and after that pixel shaders. So for now your best option is to look up the track when if folds back on itself. An automatic update for skins and tracks. For example, log onto server, track not in folder, game automatically downloads it. Used t...

Re: Game Suggestions
An automatic update for skins and tracks. For example, log onto server, track not in folder, game automatically downloads it. Used to be like that in the old days with quake 2. There were tons of maps and skins. You log onto a server that used something you didn't have, it got it for you. :) Layden
