Did you try rebooting?

Re: What do i need to get good graphics?

This is a mid-range build that was meant to run games on ultra for under 1000 dollars. You certainly COULD upgrade the Mobo and SSD, but in doing so the price would break the limit. For the price these two are offered they are the best on the market, I have always run MSI mobos in my builds and hav...

sigh ... Sorry for the brutal honesty here, but: This is a piece of crap: http://norfolk.kijiji.ca/c-buy-and-sell-computers-HP-Compaq-AMD-64x2-3800-Dual-Core-Media-movie-computer-W0QQAdIdZ461823707 (Sorry to the guy who built this, but,) the motherboard and SSD are crap (power supply is alright): h...

Re: Most Important PC-Components to play MXS

Correct me if wrong, but doesn't Seasonic actually manufacture some/all Corsair PSUs? In any case, Corsair products just look down-right sexy, and their customer service is great (speaking from experience here). Haven't bought anything Seasonic though, so I can't speak much on their behalf. and http...

Re: Most Important PC-Components to play MXS

Oh my gosh... triple post, sorry... POWER SUPPLY: Corsair or Seasonic. I'd recommend 650W or higher, (modular is also really, reaalllyyyyy nice, little more expensive though)... I'd also try to make sure you go with 80 PLUS GOLD, less heat per watt, which is good. If I'm wrong on that, someone pleas...

Re: Most Important PC-Components to play MXS

One more thing!!! Make sure the motherboard you pick out has the right socket for your CPU. I would also recommend one with the Z77 chipset. PCI-e 3.0 (in case you upgrade to a gtx 6xx), and native USB 3.0 support, meaning it's integrated, meaning that's good, also it should have a USB 3.0 header on...

Re: Most Important PC-Components to play MXS

GPU: 6950 or GTX560ti (I'd recommend Gigabyte or ASUS for 6950, ASUS, Gigabyte or EVGA for 560ti) RAM: 8GB (1600MHz) is usually the standard for most gaming rigs. Faster RAM helps with minimal overclocking. I'd go with G.Skill or Corsair. Hard drive: Western Digital (if you go with an SSD, I'd go Cr...

Re: Best computer/laptop with a reasonable price

I would have to agree (although a part of me wants to disagree) with jlv. As I've been discussing back-and-forth in emails with Ddavis, this seems to be the most reasonable, price-friendly option, especially given his situation. The part of me that wants to disagree with jlv, and I may be speaking f...

Re: Best computer/laptop with a reasonable price

Biggest problem I had with this laptop was my keyboard malfunctions, but using an external keyboard is fine. Just clicks louder (Ask everyone in Teamspeak  ) and overheating, but I haven't had a problem since I had a cooling fan put underneath it and cleaned the dust off the cover. Well, maybe...

Re: Best computer/laptop with a reasonable price

With lenovos and dells, they usually are known to last... but technology is technology, and it can fail at any time for pretty much any reason. Although, some brands are more prone to failure to others, based solely on the parts they choose to use. Most laptops and PCs you see from HP or gateway hav...

Re: Best computer/laptop with a reasonable price

I see that case all the time... and it is still amazing, good choice (I bet you hear that all the time  ). You really can't go wrong with corsair... Yeah I love it haha Corsair makes cable management and all so easy. Also I like their new fans and I can see you have a few of them too. I am thi...

Re: Best computer/laptop with a reasonable price

Well, yeah, I guess they are... If you like bloatware... and the occasional failing component. I'd really, reeaalllyy strongly recommend building your own. I could help you out with it every step of the way, or even build it for you (but that's only fun for me :P). There's a strong sense of pride fe...

Re: Best computer/laptop with a reasonable price

Before installing/reinstalling anything, check the integrity of your hard drive, for the time's sake. I've been working at a computer repair shop for almost a year now, and the number one case of BSODs we see is a failing hard drive. Download and install HDTune, and check the health tab. If everythi...
