Re: MCM1, MCM2, MXvATV track creators + OpenGL help?

I used to play all those mcm games (still have the discs). My zone name was Y2K_rebel_yell. I didnt follow a lot of the online scene, much the same nowadays too, but if you made tracks then I probably played it online. Im surprised that old mcm guys shun this yet will fire up a car simulation. Why a...

Re: Remote Control DIRT BIKES

Hey mace-x. Yeah, the ARX is too expensive especially after conversion from dollar to euros. The duratrax dx450 (aka Anderson m5 in europe) doesnt look that great to me. All the youtube videos I've seen look like it only does well on flat or soft surfaces, due to poor suspension (no oil in forks, on...

Re: Remote Control DIRT BIKES

I'm not sure I see the attraction of RC dirtbikes. If I'm going outside with a motorcycle, why not just have a real dirt bike.... So, what, playing mxs is any different? If anything, next to real racing or real riding, I say rc racing is the next closest thing. Its real, its tangible. If rc dirt bi...

Re: suggestion about warmup mode

I dont read anything indicating anger here. Are you in a grumpy mood Kustom? As for the suggestion, no offense, but bad idea. Its not fair that a rider with no bike to bike collisions to suddenly be in the race. That rider had no problem picking best line right through the first turn mess. Th...

Re: Remote Control DIRT BIKES

@Tyskorn Actually the top image is the gas version of arx 540 while they also have an electric version too. The bottom image I posted is of an electric bike by different company. So, yeah theres both types out there. In fact, just last night I found a pic of a modded bike with a 4-STROKE engine! lol...

Remote Control DIRT BIKES

I used to own and race for fun a r/c buggy over 10 yrs ago (team losi jrx I think). Lately Ive been thinking about those yrs and how fun it would be to get back into r/c again. Since I love dirt bikes and r/c was a fun hobby, I thought Id see if anything for r/c dirt bikes has been made. So, first I...

Re: How Do I Stop This

(I wonder if a help screen IN GAME that gives new riders a plan for success, sort of like from the managers perspective, would help?) The typical route of a new player would be something like this: - start off on arcade mode for a few days. - turn off arcade mode asap with stability at 100 - practic...

Re: 2010 AMA Supercross Discussion

Nobody cares about Andrew Short? Geez. Out for 6 wks due to some kind of leg injury after casing it. Poor guy was practically in tears. He was doing really good and probably a great chance to finish an sx season up in the top 5.

Re: Reflex Reviews

Also, If anyone wants to do a SX or MX tournament, we usually get about 8 (good) riders but we want more like 10. You won't win anything except a pat on the back, but its alot of fun and to do all the MX or SX tracks in one night makes it pretty intense. It usually takes about 1 1/2 hours to do it ...

Re: 2010 xbox

Lol, old news and not even correct either. microsoft may create a sku that included natal, but no "new" xbox. Peripheral will be sold separately. Only thing developers need to wake up to with Natal is HEAD TRACKING!! I believe on joystiq a week ago blogged about the devs of Moto GP 09/10, which indi...

Re: 2010 AMA Supercross Discussion

I dvr the races and watch them during the week so I get the news a couple days late. This is such a crazy season. I wonder if its gonna get cut throat now that reed/stewart are out, as everyone will feel they have a real chance for glory. I really wanted to see Dungey go up against stewart & reed th...

It went over my head. :(

That suggestion for 2 leveling sliders sounds really helpful. Would they include a falloff value for each too?

My suggestion: a new Suggestions Forum. :)

Re: 2010 Supercross Series Rd 5 - Thursday Night Feb 4

I dont get to race this series due to time constraints, but its such a cool thing your doing guys. Its the first time Ive seen an mx game have races that coincide with actual events. Very cool, so props for the work. ;) If I may post a few suggestions for the track makers for the sake of online raci...
