Re: Ground Spring/Damping
The less the wheels penetrate the ground the better job it will do making the contact normal vector. When it gets really buried it's pretty much guessing what the normal should be. I'd say "really buried" is around the depth of the tire. It has to be pretty stiff to not sink on jumps. So assuming y...

Re: Front Wheel Lock
what do you mean by lock ? When breaking ? I was referring to the effect you get when you barely touch another rider with your front wheel. You just tap the back wheel of another bike and you lose all control and fall over and sometimes even results in a fall-off crash. I was also curious if this e...

Front Wheel Lock
It's just the worst... Not completely sure but i think this was originally implemented as a way to punish people who were punting other players but instead has become a complete burden. At least make it an option for a server to either adjust the settings on how severe the "lock" is or to completely...

Re: AWood's 2014 Demo Race Series - Round 1
The point of demo racing is to give everyone a chance to race. Timezones don't affect the racing as much because you don't all have to show up at the same time. Sure, demo racing does give "try-hards" a bit of an advantage. But the spirit of demo racing is to allow everyone an equal chance to parti...

Re: AWood's 2014 Demo Race Series - Round 1
Trying to find the right amount of time to get a non-tryhard dominated demo series is tough. I think the 24 hours worked decently and hopefully now that more people are aware of when the track will be announced there will be more entries for round 2. Hopefully Awood's lazy ass will post demos faster...

Re: 2015 RFG National Number Quest
And I haven't made a 450 main so if get full 250 points, so obviously it wouldn't benefit me either, I just like the way it currently is because points don't end at Vegas they will end in Utah. Most likely top 7-10 in both coasts + 3-5 people in 450 SX will be up front in 250 mx and the 11-20 range...

Re: 2015 RFG National Number Quest
You need to look at the complete points system as a whole not separate between SX and MX as that will not work. If this in the bold is the case and you think that having full points for 250's is fine for Outdoors than to me taking away full points for East or West rounds for 250 riders is the wrong...

Re: 2015 RFG National Number Quest
Some peoples schedules do not allow them to race the 450 or vice versa due to real life Dupuis. Smith had to qualify at a Mcdonalds lol. I think you guys are worrying a bit too much. 20min difference? A lot of these people are still kids. Just because you are not, does not mean it will not affect o...

Re: 2015 RFG National Number Quest
Should of changed it at the start of the season not 11 rounds in so people that wanted a good number could of tryed racing 450 full time I can believe that trying to be contributor and project 2015 numbers turned into this debate, FFS this should have been discussed in December not now. What Craig ...

Re: 2015 RFG National Number Quest
250 class isn't comparable to the 450 class, 450 is so hard to make into let alone the night show. I guess ill do 450 from here on out to challenge myself, 250 isn't hard it's just surviving slower riders going for the W every turn. This is not what i was trying to get to. Definitely seen that you ...

Re: 2015 RFG National Number Quest
I'm not rf, do whatever you want. I already put in my 2 cents. And Alex, why is everything a jab at me and "they're quicker than you", do you want me to move up to 450 full time? Not saying i support the jab at you but when you completely ignore the concepts being explained and default back to the ...
