Re: A question about racing etiquette.
I would just go easy on the start and let everyone pile up in the first or second corner (happens just about every race) and try to weave your way though them. On the stock track server that is the easiest way to ensure 1st place. Thanks for all the info guys. Really cleared some stuff up for me. E...

A question about racing etiquette.
As someone who has been playing this game solo for a couple years now, and only recently online, I have a few questions on racing etiquette. I also don't ride a dirt bike in real life so I don't really no much about proper race manners. My background in racing involves cars. When I'm playing this si...

Re: Red Bull Record Compound
How do you get "I don't know what a psd is." from "I don't know what I would do with a psd." ? I meant that even if I made a psd with a track on it, I wouldn't know what to do with that file. lol you`re not familiar with photoshop i guess,a psd is a photoshop file  are your dumb? obviously I ...

Re: Red Bull Record Compound
So does this make Bill Gates an experienced track maker? I assume he knows windows?? Or what about PC dude from those mac commericals? He sure dosen't look like a track maker to me. Being a mac user, I'd figure you are pretty comfortable with PS (aren't all mac users artist types???), which means y...

Re: Red Bull Record Compound
No, but I'm assuming you were all pretty comfortable with windows before you started. If jlv decided he wanted to make an osx version of mx sim we wouldn't be having this conversation. But I doubt that will ever happen. I just don't have the patience to figure it out. Which is why I suggested someon...

I couldn't agree with you more. i.e. Do the Dunes.... you can see anything on that map. I'm sure the color of the texture doesn't help but I can think of plenty of places that could use better light.Phathry25 wrote:MULTIPLE LIGHT SOURCES

Re: Red Bull Record Compound
For someone who doesn't ever use Windows except to play games and who knows nothing about the maze of files involved in Windows, it's not really practical to learn how to make tracks.

Red Bull Record Compound
An experienced track maker should make a Red Bull World Record compound. I'm talking 300ft distance jumps, quarter pipes and big ass step-ups and step-downs. That would be very sick. I would do it but I can't make a whoop let alone a massive jump.

Re: AmA Glen Helen
The track isn't the greatest but this place is easily the best free ride area. 200ft+ jumps all over the place. Sick.

Re: Game Suggestions
haha as the crow flies its 2.6 miles from the beach store to Oldsmobile alone. Thats why I said Oldsmobile and the surrounding area would be good enough.DJ wrote:What sort of distance are we talking about there? Anything larger than 6000x6000 feet wouldn't be worth making.

Re: Game Suggestions
That would be amazing. I would be happy with just olds but if someone could make beach store to china wall in the same map with paddle tires, this would legit be the best dirt bike game ever.

Re: Speedworld Motocross Park
I didn't mean that you made it wrong. I just meant that the physics in the game weren't spot on. The bumps aren't really there but they do make the track more interesting. This track is a good track for sure. I just wish the game would allow you to make a 100% realistic Speedworld.

Re: Game Suggestions
That would definitely be sick. Once they are made someone should make Oldsmobile hill and the surrounding area. I would but I don't know the first thing about track making.
