Re: 2023-10-14 snapshot (Updated on 2023-10-29)
Finishing up the terrain optimizations first. The lighting update will be after that. Excellent, is there any reading you can point towards on what you want to do with the lighting? The plan is to do something similar to using a diffuse irradiance environment map but not exactly since I want to mak...

Re: Server setting for disabling stabilizer (front end lock)

Re: Server setting for disabling stabilizer (front end lock)
Id rather a system that promotes clean racing yes, punish the punter not the victim. Like I said in the original post though, I think some server settings that allow us to tune the stablizer would be the best option. Completely off would be a bit much. The rider whose front wheel was swept stayed up and the other rider went down. The stabilizer was too quick/strong and made racing moves work backwards. It was a rou...

Re: Stuck on loading screen
Looks like it loaded reasonably fast there. About 30 seconds making the file index isn't too bad.

Re: Throttle Delay
OK. I thought maybe DirectSound wasn't working. I googled around a bit for you and found some people having sound latency issues on MacOS but no one seemed to have a fix.

Re: Throttle Delay
Definitely sounds like a sound issue. Does it say anything about "waveout" in the lastlog.txt file?

Re: Stuck on loading screen
If you look at the timestamps in lastlog.txt, where does it spend the 10 minutes?

Re: Possible bug: Constant crashing when deleting decals
OK. There were definitely a lot of changes to the decal insert/delete code so I'll have a look.

Re: Black track... might be helpful?
Yeah, I'm sure I'll be able to come up with a workaround for it. I just wish I had a way to reliably reproduce it for testing.

The track has to support it. Try one of the 2024 supercross tracks.sonofahcigrit15 wrote: ↑Sun Jan 21, 2024 2:30 am im just ridding on tracks and does not make the treadmarks
