Re: Game Scripting
Would the script that will physically change things need to managed by the server to keep things in sync?

I wasn't sure if that was absolute velocity or not, I didn't try it.

Re: Game Scripting
That's what I was thinking I don't think it would sync up to well between clients though. Even when I played back the demo, there were slight differences in position which made the statue move differently

Re: Game Scripting
Just double checked it and it's a bug. The Y value gets overwritten when it positions the statue on the ground. There's a separate value for the ground relative height that I should have set. Explains why I couldn't get my man to bounce. Had to resort to using the z axis instead. https://i.imgur.co...

OK, I'm starting to get my head around the bone movements. I've realised that you pretty much have to define the bone centers as per how they are in blender, then set the bone position as the same if you want to get static rotation from the bone center. https://im2.ezgif.com/tmp/ezgif-2-e234c6f1e50c...

Re: 2019-01-01 snapshot
I managed to get a list of all the keys out. A couple of suggestions for your next round of additions: Move billboard - I think this would be handy for animating a few things like dust, rain etc. Include a transparency factor Play Sound - Play a sound, location based, % volume Rider Wheel Spin (velo...

Re: 2019-01-01 snapshot
That's pretty good considering you hand coded it so fast! I hope it isn't too hard to do natural looking movement in Blender. I didn't allow moving statues with collisions because it would take some special care by the script to avoid making the different clients' tracks evolve differently. Also, t...

Re: 2019-01-01 snapshot
Watch out, he's a comin'!
Any reason why this can't work with collisions? Is it a bit more complex to move the collision with it?

Re: 2018 MX Discussion
It was puzzling that Tomac wasn't better on that track. It looked like conditions that suit him well - WFO with big sweeping turns. I was also expecting Roczen to do better also. I was surprised that Mitch Evans from Australia wasn't too far off their pace, he almost got 2 tops tens.

Re: Terrain Deformation/Erode
Considering erode is now a refined and major feature of the game, perhaps this should be able to be toggled within a menu?
