Re: 2013 Zero MX
I disregarded the power source as I assumed DJ was making a point that electric motors are better for performance applications due to their power delivery (not trying to put words into his mouth, just saying what I got from it) which is what we are discussing here. Practicality takes a bit of a back...

Re: 2013 Zero MX
Explain? The last electric car I was probably back in 2000 in a demo vehicle so I can't directly comment, but as a method of propulsion an electric motor's hard to beat for efficiency and mechanical simplicity. (Battery and fuel cell technology is another point entirely.)

Re: 2013 Zero MX
I just like the fact that electric motors are superior to combustion engines I had to debate this point for one of my entrance interviews for Cambridge. The professor was arguing for IC engines in cars and he didn't convince me to be honest. He tried to say that linear power delivery was a bad thin...

He'll always be remembered around here for this iconic shot, making a double from two singles at Hawkstone Park.
Very sad that he was so young. My thoughts go out to his family, RIP Georges.

Re: Xbox rumble test (Please be gentle ;) )
This is really nice, I've just been testing it on 200 intensity. Would there be any way the vibration could ''vibrate'' alot more when you case/land hard? Also when you're pre loading up the face of a jump and it picks up the suspension so it vibrates alot more than it does now? I'd love to see thi...

Sounds strange, all I can suggest is deleting and re-downloading the application. Are the files still in the install folder and not the personal folder?

That just reminded me, I only got three quarters of the way through that book. I had to take it back to the library and forgot to get it out again.

I signed up to get access to the uk data for this some ago, since the standard data for the uk is not as detailed as for the US. I'd completely forgotten about it until this topic. I might have to look into again when I get some time and a reliable internet connection.

Re: 2DMX: 2D Sim MX Game for Desktop and Android
Just a minor annoyance on the android version. If the bike is sitting under or near to where the analogue stick is for leaning then it randomly resets in the air as you're going along because it thinks you've tapped the bike. Can we have iit so that it doesn't reset over a certain speed or have I ove...

Apart from the fact that Portal and Portal 2 are amazing games, you don't actually have to buy any I don't think. As long as you have steam, you can just download the source sdk on it's own for free without needing any of the games. Just got to Tools and search for Source SDK Base 2007.

Yeah, I know it...bit posh around there. :P Anyway, sorry for off topic...I've not really been anywhere particularly cool although getting personal tours of all of the facilities (except for the high security nuclear facility) at Rolls-Royce Derby a few years back was pretty nice. Everywhere you wen...

Whereabouts are you from Buddy? Winsford's not all that far from my hometown on the Wirral. Unfortunately I have to spend most of my time in sunny Coventry though.BuddyTheElf wrote: Winsford Salt mine
