I was able to troubleshoot the problem, if anyone runs into the same problem here is the solution:

1. I installed blender 2.62 and jlv's script didnt like that
2. I uninstalled blender 2.62 and installed 2.59 then re-ran the script and everything worked fine.

Im trying to export my bike models in blender 2.60 and it keeps giving me this error?
