I haven't looked at the file, but is the idea the same as the KTM. Have all the parts in a template and as people make skins they go under the template if you decide its good enough. Im talking about once the bike is released

In the editor move the last timing gate to the start of the section. Then go into timetrial mode and when you stuff up just press reverse and viola

Models look really good and clean!
Im not very good at unwrapping but I know google offers tonnes of tutorials if you wanted to learn yourself
