but, whats HUD?

its everything on your screen except your bike track etc. so like your pit board your RPMs stuff like that and HUD means Heads Up Display well at least thats what it stands for in army games lol

got to ask a noob question apologies,i got the 2008-11-26 snapshot, but i dunno how to add the snapshots since,can someone please give me simple instructions, do i wait for the whole file to finish downloading then copy and paste the whole thing onto my 2008-11-26 xxxz.saf file?

First rename "c:\Program Files\mx.exe" to "c:\Program Files\mx-orig.exe" (skip this if you don't mind overwriting your original exe.)
Save "mx-2008-12-03.exe" to "c:\Program Files\MX Simulator\mx.exe".
Save "zzzx.saf" to "c:\Program Files\MX Simulator\zzzx.saf".

hmmm,sorry still having problems,the snapshot i got is the 20-11-2008 not 26-11-2008,i had no problem with that cos it was a saf file,but all the later snapshots i can't save,only save as,and then its not a saf but the web page,dunno how to make it a saf to replace the old one.

just download .exe file not .saf if you downloaded it already.. if you cant download it ,just press right mouse button on it and then press Save As or something like this

ok i see the xxxz saf file remains the same from 26-11-2008,but its weird how i had trouble to save it,ended up saving it via edit plus and that worked ok at last

i need help. i replaced exe and the snapshot works but when i try to open up my personal folder it says cant find game data?

ahaha i had the same problem and the answer is.... RENAME NEW SNAPSHOT TO EITHER mx OR mx.exe see wich one works

When doing the lapchart.py, what is the "results.txt" file? I dont really understand what to input? Do we specify a race/demo? Thanks

"results.txt" is saved in your personal folder when the last rider finishes. You will know the last rider has finished when the on screen results go from unofficial to final.

To run the lapchart script, you want to do something like:

python lapchart.py <results.txt >chart.txt

Can someone please tell me if this works with the demo? I want to see how the lean feels in the game, but I'm not sure if I want to buy it yet. any help is very appreciated.

Nope it does not work with the demo :/ sorry you will need to buy the full game for any of the newest snapshots to work
