Contacting Server on a Personal Server

My friend tries to join my server and i can connect to it fine but it wont let him connect

we need more details to help you.. do you have a hamachi server? if so, he needs to be connected to your server in hamachi, then connect to your server in game.

We both made a server and tried connecting while also in the same hamachi server and it still just said contacting server

Some computers just won't work with hamachi. My team can connect to my hamachi server fine, but their servers seem to be impossible to use even going through the exact same steps of creating it. It's a bit frustrating. Try port forwarding and see where that gets use.

is your firewall down? my team had the same proble.. but i turned off my firewall, and all of a sudden evrybody could join
