Full Version

Post by yomo »

Hello,

I have just bought the full version and have downloaded it. (loving the new tracks)

However i have been reading about people changing the suspension settings and gearing, however i can not find that menu anywhere.
Also when i downloaded the Vegas2008 supercross and none of the objects show up
Also i have heard about ghost racing, but again i dont know where to find it.

It says i have version 1.0 so are there any updates that fix these issues?

thanks

Congratulations on buying the full version! To get the updates, download the latest 'snapshot' posted by JLV (it will usually be stickied at the top of this forum). Once downloaded, put it into your C drive MX Simulator folder, and rename it to mx.exe. Then all you have to do is open up the game!

As for suspension, you now go to bike setup, and there will be another menu. Ghost racing is called Time-Trial

Just download them and double click on them.

As for your track problem, delete the one you have now, redownload it, unzip it, and put it into your personal folder. If you still have the problem, make sure the following files are there

texturelist
lighting
statues

OK, I was looking into it, and Gordy had texturelist looking for a tile that was in another track, which you must not have. Put these files into the Vegas2008 folder, and see how it goes.

As for the sky, make sure eastsky.png is in your Vegas2008 folder

if you change the name of folder to "vegas2008" (no capital letter), it may fix it.
JLV has said that differentiating cases in the fonts can cause a problem on some OS's.
