So what is supposed to happen when you connect?

I haven't actually been able to play online yet.

Its connects and you enter into the room. You start out watching the current race going on.... then you can request to restart the race. It seems that if there are half the number of requests as riders racing, the race will restart and you will then be included in.

Guys. This snapshot is so incredibally beta. You guys need to realize that. For what it is, its an absolute GREAT start. JLV has done a great job. Multiplayer will only get better from here. We need to accept the bugs and help JLV work through them.

I mean, come on. This is the FIRST multiplayer beta, and look how awesome the player collisions are!!!! NO OTHER MX GAME IS THIS ACCURATE!!!!

Lets give it time. JLV is working his ass off to make this better. Lets help him out by giving constructive critizism and helpful comments.

Man, the multiplayer was so much fun last night im so anxious to play again haha. Hopefully JLV will have it up and running soon enough so I will be able to race all you guys that haven't been able to try it yet

No, because I was still playing at 12pm last night, JLV had left at about 7pm

I'm thinking now, we really need a Vent/TS channel. Or at least an IRC channel. Makes us more connected and shows who is playing at any moment.

I'm in a vent server right now with some friends but inviting a bunch of people wouldn't go over so well with the owner. I had my own vent server at one time but then i canceled it because i never used it anymore. They are pretty cheap, you can get a 25 man server for around $10 a month

You men you are racing right now online, using your own server?

Mind explaining how to set that up possibly?

A Vent Server is for chatting, with the use of a headset (I think). It is not used for hosting games

who was riding the crf #371 last night. at some points my laptop handle 5 riders without any lag , but other times it crashed. im anxious to race online again.
