I had forgotten about that. While I was at it I gave them -10 lbs plus -1 for every 500 rpm above the redline. Does it seem right?

Yeah It sorta makes sence....What did you do for the 350? It has traction seems light, and is a little slower.

The forks still feel really soft to me, idk. They seem to just blow through the stroke even at max settings.

I thought everything was dialed. I switched my suspension to stock with a few adjustments and it worked out fine for me.

The 450 had excellent power throughout the entire power curve. Traction was good. Suspension was good. And it for sure did not need anymore power. All the tracks are already built for the 250 motor. Therefore, anyone having trouble with a lack of power IMO should work on throttle control and some proper shifting. This bike was much like a 450 IRL, if you keep the motor at a smooth RPM instead of trying to rag the dog shit out of it making yourself sound fast....... you will get much better performance.

EX.( The GOAT, if you got the chance to watch him ride IRL you would notice that he was very smooth with his throttle and very rarely had to rev the motor up)

just my .02

Damping or spring rate?

For me it's been the damping being too slow. This goes back to 250's though. I can't make my bike pack in the whoops, not that I need it too, but I'd like to see a range wide enough to be able to do so. Also, when landing and turning, I am almost sure to have the front wheel pop off the ground after rebound, making me tuck the front end and crash.

I'm a solid 12 beers deep, and it's a real challenge keeping my spelling on point, I just sped front frunt...lol

"readsetup" and "writesetup" take one parameter which is the filename. E.g. "/readsetup my450setup". It only reads/writes the bike settings.
Wow !!! I'm back just in time ! Thank you Josh ! The progress since my last sessions is incredible !

I have a crash now, 'out of virtual memory' when i open my current wip track since precedent snapshot using max texture memory size (1024, i use 2gb vram).

some suggestions :
- a way to set a default setting for bikes at load time. (linking a setup to a bike/skin/track ?)
- setup list command ?
- Maybe use this way to save some other config by this way too, like using differents graphic settings for some tracks.
- now you may use some sounds samples to add ambiant sounds ? like shocks or riders shouting bad lapers.

Riding vintage MX bikes most of the time (IRL) the 450's are AWESOME. I can make lap after flawless lap utilizing the dominant mid range power, no more tapped out triples for this guy, oh no, I can plan out my approach and totally rely on the big mid range power to carry the needed speed. No more frantic berm exits, I can learn lines and bring the speed back to the 250's with wreckless abandon! :o

Thank you JLV! MX Sim is a whole new sim for me again and I am really loving the new found approach to the tracks with the added power and weight.

Definitely more of a blessing than a curse having power on tap. I just went 5 increments higher in front and rear springs and 2 higher on rebound. Feels great.

This is probably the wrong place to ask, but I just got myself a new graphics card, and now the FPS is capped at 58/68, why is that?

turn Vertical Sync off in your control panel.
