When im on the 'select' zone, i cant select because it is blocked, how can i unblock that?

be sure when you are placing the second picture it place it exactly in the middle (there are coordinates in left upper corner, make sure they are half of the resolution and the scale it 100% then it should work fine

If it's the background layer just right click it in the layer panel and choose "Layer from Background...".

You can also open both screenshot in PS. Open the tab of the screenshot with the rider. Right click it and choose "Duplicate Layer". Then, in the pop up select your background screenshot as destination. Both screenshot should match perfectly.

How do you set the foreground color to black?
