Re: Fast way to select rider in Photoshop by p2sta
I have a question, I have ps cs6 and when i do this i get a selection around the rider and i can still see the whole backround, then when i try to apply something to the backround like a blur nothing ever happens, any ideas on how to fix this ??

you didn't follow it right then. Did you delete the background in the layer with rider? Show picture of the layers thumbnails after you finish the process, then we can see if it's like it should be

I can't figure this out to save my life

what step are you stuck on?
Re: Fast way to select rider in Photoshop by p2sta
When the rider blends to the background, it doesn't go completely black on the foreground, and when I get to the end, the background is just all white and snowy lookingp2sta wrote:what step are you stuck on?

those two pics are probably not same or when you place it to the photoshop, one is moved a bit (sometimes photoshop does this to me for no reason)

well i dont really get some of those steps, its probably becuase i have cs6, like when you say to delete the selection and change the rider option to blending to normal the selection around the rider deletes and i cant do anything
Re: Fast way to select rider in Photoshop by p2sta
it works same for cs6, these are basic instructions that works probably in all versions.
Delete the selection means delete the part of the layer that is selected (not deselect) just to make sure we talk about the same. When you do it, you should notice in the layer thumbnails that one of the layers is just rider with transparent background
