That would be great! That is what I am talking about being able to fix it right away not going back later and changing it. I can honestly say that I have never posted anything that I would not still stand behind now, so I never really thought about the people being able to get rid of the evidence of their stupidity.

I have no problem with not being a mod anymore. But as I said in another thread, its a shame we can't move stuff round, sticky stuff, or unlock posts anymore. Oh well.

As for the noobs. It would be good to have a mature section where we can post stuff, and have a good concentration of intelligent posts, instead of the 1:10 ratio we have now. The noobs section sounds good as well. Make them locked into posting there for 2 or 3 months, or until they have proved that they arent a noob.

Glad you're still here DJ. The noobs don't really bother me unless they jump into a serious conversation. In that case I can just dump their posts. As long as the one noob post doesn't spawn 20 replies it's no big deal.

That usually seems to be the case. Not trying to convince you into it or anything, its your forums, but at least if the "noobs" are posting in the noob section people have no right to comment back with hateful things about being a noob. I don't think locking them to just that section for any time frame is necessary, without noobs there would be no mxs. We were all noobs once and without any help or motivation form other people I'm sure we would have far less people then we do now. With a fast growing community stuff like this happens, people think they are better then everyone else because they have owned the game longer. That's why I am no longer associating myself with the xfire guys, don't get me wrong there are a lot of cool guys buts there are a few that just bring it all down.

why dont you just lock the membership and ban anyone who signed up within the past six months (yes, that includes me) then you wont be bothered by anymore NOOBS or NOOB questions NOOBING up the place or causing NOOBRAGE, then, when everything is locked and no more NOOBS can register, all the older members can have a pissing contest until everyone is fed up with the BS and everyone migrates to other forums to complain about the NOOBS there.

Skip to 3:15 if you cant be bothered watching the whole thing.

(Beware, this is a brutal video. Definitely NSFW. Got banned from Youtube the day it was posted. But hell, I find it strangely amusing)
