Ok, this should probably go in track editing, but i don't want to start a new topic so...
Is there like a list of instructions for the ingame editor? I don't know how to place objects or get different textures instead of the generic dirt which is ugly. Once I know these and get used to it more, hopefully I can start making some worthy tracks to release.

There are a few tutorials in the track editing forum.

Heres a few good ones:

http://www.mxsimulator.com/benchracing3 ... ?f=2&t=524 - Tutorial for In game Editor
http://www.mxsimulator.com/benchracing3 ... ?f=2&t=937 - For creating in Photoshop
http://www.mxsimulator.com/benchracing3 ... f=2&t=1141 - For adding decals

http://www.mxsimulator.com/benchracing3 ... f=2&t=1134 - Just a list of all of the track files

All of these and a few more can be found in the track editing bit

http://www.mxsimulator.com/benchracing3 ... &start=465 - Here is the forum DDMX posted for the wireframe to his new gear. (second post) The actual rider model hasn't been released but should be soon

Im not sure about the bikes though although Im pretty sure there are some templates somewhere - Anyone know post the link here please

hope that helped

Thanks yomo. Yeah, I was making jumps the right way with the gradient... I just figured I was doing it wrong. But the decals, I might have to let someone do them for me if I make a good enough track. I can't understand it yet. I also can't use photoshop because I don't have it, don't plan on paying, and don't want to download *cough* STEAL *cough* it. But thanks for going through the trouble to look for those threads. Do you know if there was ever a berm tutorial made, because if I can make good berms I'll be able to make pretty decent tracks, just without any decals.

Be sure to name it as, for example, in each example, example name would be the one that showes up:
crf250-example name
rmz250-example name
yz250f-example name
kx250f-example name

If you still can't make it work, look in one of the .saf's, using notepad++, and you will be able to see exactly how everyone else has named the graphics.

Here's another dumb question. But until it is answered I can't play MXS. I tried to change the window so it played minimized, using the in-game adjustor. But it just like closed out and never went into windowed mode. I had to force quit. Now, whenever I try to play it, the cursor turns into a crosshair, but the game doesn't open up. Or maybe it does but I can't see it. How should I go about fixing this? Any help is appreciated.

Go into your personal folder, and open the file called config. Scroll down and change the resolution to something like 640x480.
