This version isn't compatible with the last one. I have the server at elsinore.mxsimulator.com:19801 running this version. The other server is still on the old version at the moment.
do you know how to read?

Thank you JLV. I'm amazed with how diverse your programming skills are. Look forward to testing this tonight after work.

I noticed with the 2/21 update that the ping displayed seem way off for long periods of time. I didnt notice any unusual lag with 3 others riding during a race but it was reporting pings like from 3000-4000ms for a while while other times between 200-400ms.

Also, gate jumping before start has been mentioned but I would like to add that I was getting pushed 45 degrees out of my start gate position BEFORE gate dropped by these clowns. Not sure on a solution but disqualification and/or limiting mobility would be a good start.

Heh. I just wanted to get the bandwidth under control. It was insane before. I was sending 8.4 Mbits/sec for a while there. Now I'm only using around .6 Mbits/sec.

You might wanna disable the editor in mulitplayer. I just built a big wall at Alcrest that only affected me

Will do. The bandwidth thing was killing me so I had to fix that first.

Im far from a network guy but did you get it working yet? If not...
I *think that error comes up if your computer cannot convert the name "elsinore.mxsimulator.com" into an ip address. Could be an XP/VISTA or ISP issue, but not sure. One test you can try is open a command prompt (in accessories) and type this in nslookup elsinore.mxsimulator.com and see if that gets the ip address. If you get an ip address then try typing in that for server name in mxs and see if it can work (depends on jlv coding). If it works great, but then there is still the problem to figure out with server names.
