This right here. My buddy gave me the demo on a flash drive because my internet was down for some stupid reason. Bought it a day later. Fucking HATED the game for the first 5 months. Even though I could barely turn a corner without crashing, I was hooked.
Re: How did you get into this game?
i had bought the game because i knew it had the potential to be something great in time, wasn't to excited about rider lean back in the day and only singleplayer. But it was only time, and now look where we are.
Mittocs sure did bring a shit ton of people though, he motivated everyones whips.
RIP dont get wifed up Make a return hopefully.

Google, I searched for an mx simulator browser game. Something like www.hattrick.org or www.pmanager.org. Something fantasy-ish, but about motocross.
But with that in the search bar the first link was the mxsimulator website. I downloaded the demo and almost bought the game immeadetly.

Same, but I played the demo for about 5 minutes a long time ago and hated it. I watched videos and thought it was the gayest thing, but when MvA died and it got to the point where I couldn't host races anymore on Hamachi and nobody was around to even download my tracks I lost interest, but I still played it almost every day. I'm really bummed I lost all my tracks, I still have the disk but it wouldn't be as fun if I didn't have all the OG tracks. Mainly I like racing MX games online and getting better and that's why I like MX Sim. I just love racing and even though it gets frustrating, this game is pretty awesome when you are feeling good. I think if it wasn't for rF I wouldn't have this game, they host the sickest series!Boblob801 wrote:Heard about it on the Mva forums back when it was big, once Mva died I made the switch.

I always knew about MX Sim sense 2007, Gave the demo a couple tries and didn't really like it, Played MVA until it finally died and got the new version of the demo of MX Sim. Bought the game for christmas this past year. Been in love ever sense lol.
Re: How did you get into this game?
for some reason i want to say i heard about it back in the early 2000's, but that cant be right. i remember downloading a game that i think was called MX Simulator, but it was one bike on a circle track with two jumps and it was kinda fun, but really weird. i think it might actually still be on my old laptop, but that thing hasnt run in years. maybe ill get it working again someday...
anyway, years after i started looking for that game again, because i was curious about it. and i came across the MX Sim we all know and love. i think this was 07 or 08, not sure. downloaded the demo and loved the fact that the bike actually turned like a real bike does, and you could change gears and have separate brake functions, clutch, and powersliding. my computer sucked though, and i couldnt play the game with a joystick, so i shelved the idea for the time and decided to check back when i had a better comp. somewhere around mid to late 2010 i had a decent computer and could run it somewhat decently. so i checked youtube for vids to see how it was coming along and found Mittocs. watched his vids and instantly bought the game, downloaded tracks and skins, and proceeded to suck. i kept at it though, and even though i thought i would never run a single lap without crashing i was determined to run the 2012 SX series. so i played SX all year long, and was getting better and better. and 2012 showed me i still needed to improve. sure i take a break now and then, who doesnt? but this game is too good to NOT keep playing. sure, tons of people are faster than i am, but im still going, and i think ill do much better in 2013.
and now i cant play any other MX games because theyre all crap. Reflex was fun but...no contest. i played EVERY MVA all the way from almost the beginning with MX Madness and MX Madness 2. this is just a whole 'nother level though.

Kawasakis brought me here.
To be honest, I was a big fan of him. Lol

Re: How did you get into this game?
I used to play MVA a lot but when they started editing the physics to be more sim like and it didn't really help much I started looking for a real MX Sim and I found it here.

Re: How did you get into this game?
My friend told me about it and i got the demo. totally forgot about it after awhile because i sucked so much. Then i saw my little brother playing the full game that he got for his birthday, saw him playing it and i asked if i could try. hated the game for the first month or so but after that i started progressing rapidly and now i play daily
I'm washed.
