Changes:
- Unbinds framebuffer before generating mipmaps.
- Lowered multiplayer ghostout threshold from 5 seconds to 1. (This should make it easier to ride behind pumaxcs.)
- Added --glfinish command line option. If your video driver lags you by not syncing on frame swaps, this will help you.
- Added 2009 250f's.

Linux users: http://mxsimulator.com/snapshots/mxbin-2009-05-19

Update:
- Framebuffer objects disabled. You can re-enable it in the graphics setup menu.

Windows users: http://mxsimulator.com/snapshots/mx-2009-05-20.exe
Linux users: http://mxsimulator.com/snapshots/mxbin-2009-05-20

Replace mx.exe or mxbin with one of the above files. I'd keep a backup of the originals since these aren't well tested.

You will also need to put this file in your install folder:
http://mxsimulator.com/zzzx.saf
(This hasn't changed since the 2008-11-26 version.)

Can you explain further about this? What would be the symptoms if this were in fact occurring on my machine.

If your actions are delayed a little, like the game is a half second behind your controls, this might help. Video cards buffer up commands so the CPU doesn't have to wait for each command to finish before working on the next task. glFinish waits until that buffer is empty. If your video driver is buffering up more than one frame, it will cause a lag that this will eliminate.

Unless you're having a problem with delayed controls this will just reduce your framerate a little.

Small bug. I can no longer alt-tab out of the game with the two latest snapshots. I can alt-tab I guess, but I can't get the game to load back up, it just sits there and makes noise, never draws the screen.

I was hoping unbinding the framebuffer before generating the mipmaps might help that. I guess I'll just have to disable the fbo code for now.

You should still be able to ride the bikes even with the checkers

Yeah i forgot to add, the game refuses to open. When i click to start riding, the game loads the track, then whilst loading the bikes it shuts down and comes up with an error message saying "mx.exe has stopped working".

Wow thanks JLV...

How about you set it to not do the thing about the textures... but make a tag line that allows it. Kind of the reverse of what it is at the moment

Well when it let me play, everything worked fine.
But for some reason whenever it gets to loading bikes, the game just shuts itself off.

EDIT: No worries jlv, problem solved! Loving the new snapshot, great job!!
