No you need a dedicated gaming laptop that has a discrete graphics card.

Check out MSI laptops, i have one and it is awesome (for a laptop). Be aware that to get similar performance from a laptop vs. a desktop you will spend 1.5x the amount you would on a desktop.

the minimum price your gonna be able to spend on a laptop to be able to run even the lowest detail tracks is probably $600. To run Rf nationals with 40 people your looking at $1,500+. Best bet is to go with a desktop and if possible build it yourself

My laptop was 800 and it has no problem running a 40 person gate.

Well, laptops are fairly solid. It could get the job done. I would suggest a hammer, though.

Only way i know of to run a 40 man gate good on a laptop like yours is to make another copy of your personal folder and put only the things you need in that one like reg key, config file, the track you need and etc. and then to lower your graphics.

Example of what you should lower your graphics to:
ground_detail=20.000000
ground_texture_detail=3.000000
ground_texture_dim=64x64
ground_mipmaps=No
texture_compress=Always
render_texture=Hardware/Direct
use_shader=No
roost_density=0.000000
lens_flare=No
reflections=No

The reason I know all this is, because I know some one that runs there Game exactly like this and he gets about 20 FPS on Rf Nationals with a 40 man gate.
