Ok iv got the KX250f out of mx vs atv now, ive uploaded the bike here
http://www.mediafire.com/?2axxzjjrjtd

hope you like it Thanks goes again to VRT_JPRLisbon for testing and for models, and to OTHG_MARS for the extraction tool

I have included the stock skin in the file but the picture you see uses this amazing skin by Kosmo87 (a big thanks to him) which i have converted for mxsim (needed transparency editing) the original link is here http://www.mcmfactory.com/display.php?cat=skins&id=3206

My updated version is here http://www.mediafire.com/?9ffydb643xy

This bike and the cr125 have a problem with the stock number boards, you can still see them, ould anyone mind if i got rid of them completly on the models (no numbers) or would i have to make new models??? please reply

Doesn't look bad, but it doesn't look like it fits in the game.

I'd say get rid of the MX Sim number plates, they look goofy.

Hey man. Do you think you could send me the models by themselves. I've always wanted to check them out in my 3d program.

while its nice to have the mva models i personally dont think they look any better than the models already in the game...the stock models just need some really good skins and they look just fine and there is none of the clear hazy stuff like on the MVA models

Thanks, how do you mean doesn't fit, as in doesn't line up or not suited to the game?

To get rid of number boards make a blank file in notepad and save it as KX250F_front_plate.jm
and another saved as KX250F_side_plates.JM just replacing the name of the bike for whichever bike you want.

I can send you all the files in .obj format if you like? 8)

j_bob: yeah i get what you're saying just i like having parts 3d rather than textured and i get to use the textures of mcmfactory (no offense meant to the brilliant skinners on here  ) the hazy effec can be removed with the steps above :D

I was making them anyway so i just upload them here for anyone who wants to download

I tried the kxf model and i think the inside of the pipe needs some faces cause you can see right through it

i will do the crf next, i have done cr125, only problem being the game is quite old and doesnt inclue the twin pipe i can mod it slightly though :D

at the moment the boards are completely deleted but i can release new models sometime it will simply be a generic board to fit all bikes :)
