If you can see the connection attempts in the server's console window, it means there is a firewall blocking outgoing packets from the server. If the server isn't seeing the connection attempts, there's probably something misconfigured in the port forwarding.

GUys is a REG key needed to play on your own server? i made it , runs fine, i connect fine then disconetcs me, i check the .bat file and it says Slot 9 Key invalid

Can it be added to remove the "No one likes a spammer" from the server if you are an admin? It always happens when I switch a track and then request restart (I'd rather just type it if I'm in the chat instead of going and clicking request restart).

The "no one likes a spammer" message is done on the client before the message gets sent. I guess I could ignore the timer when you're talking to the server, but that seems kind of kludgy.

lol, if you dont have "the means" to purchase the game then you shouldn't be playing the game... at all.
it's like going to a store and walking out with a tv yelling "i dont have the money to pay" while you're being caught.

i dont think DJ went off the handle. we all have a lot of respect for jlv and the game he created, it pisses all of us off when people get the game illegally. While it truly is the best $42 i've spent in my life.

That must be from when the servers switched, jlv just has to re-upload it.

Sorry about that. During the move I tried to clean out all the junk that I accumulated over the years and obviously missed a few things. I've reuploaded mxserver-2010-03-23.zip.
