Please can someone help my game lagg????

Right, i re-installed my mx-simulaotr, and tried going onto the game, when i got on i noticed, the mouse moves perfect, smooth with no lagg.
But when i hover over the buttons on the menu, it takes ages to select one, and when i try going in game, the game laggs like hell, and the sound is distorted and thing ect.
Does anyone know how to fix this or anything????

What computer and OS are you using and have you got the latest video drivers. Josh the programmer for MX says the video drivers are VERY important !!!

Right, im kinda rubbish with computers and things, how do i check my video drivers? and what are the recommended ones?

OK, first off, what version of Windows are you using?

OK cool me too, makes it easier. So your computer must be ok for the game as you have Win7 so you need to go to Control Panel then Device Manager and click on Display Adapters.
Right click on the video adapters name and go to Properties then try to update the driver. You can also from Control Panel go to Windows Updates and check if you are upto date or not. Then try the game again. You may need to alter the games graphic features to see if thats the problem. Let me know if you get it ok.

Im on a laptop with 7 ultimate and have no problems unless its a track with high details and then its not so bad I cant ride. Some video drivers even though the latest HAVE been causing problems and it has been recommended to roll back to a previous driver. Try a few versions out to see. Also on 7 you can run a test to see you computers performance with Win 7, goto Control Panel then System and run the "Windows Experience Index" and see what your system is running at.

It says the drivers are up to date when i try to update them.
This is what its running at.
processor: 7
Memory (RAM): 7.2
Graphics: 3.7
gaming graphics: 3.5
hard disk space: 5.7

your gaming graphics are the same as my laptop so I would say you may need to turn the graphics in MX down and see what happens but in the end you realy need a better graphics card. You should still not have that much lag though? Have you tried uninstalling MX and reinstalling it and what tracks are you lagging on, all of them or high detailed ones?

But, i have exactly the same setting as i did on vista, and it run smooth as anything on vista.
I tried eveything, and the detal graphics are on lowest on everything.
I tried all that, ive got no mods or anything on it. Just plain mx-sim.
Its ever since i installed windows 7 :S

why dont you go back to Vista then is it worked properly. Also every new OS requires more CPU usage, E.G my freind had XP and he could run crysis on high but then he upgraded to Vista and could only just about run it. My point is your pc/laptop might not be good enough to operate on 7, if you can go back to Vista.
