  • Fixed downsampling bug for completely transparent pixels.
  • Small billboard and decal rendering optimization. (Avoids unneeded glBegin/glEnd sequences.)
  • Sit/Dab key can now be set to toggle.
  • If you land upside down, the rider will be temporarily knocked out.
  • Braking torque is now adjustable.
  • Stop wheelies setting can now be set to "Front Only" which will stop stoppies but not wheelies.
  • Less flywheel damping/spring rate.
  • Quicker refreshes in track editor.

Replace mx.exe or mxbin with one of the above files. I'd keep a backup of the originals since these aren't well tested.

Oh yeah! This update is sweet. I love the toggle options. But thank god that Blackout thing was implemented now, otherwise people would have died at King of the Mountain!!

Yeah the toggle is cool..I find the "Front Only" stop wheelies and braking adjust the best.
I personally hate the blackout thing.

to be totally honest jlv, im not real crash hot on this blackout idea, i can see how it adds to the realism of the game, but it can be quite annoying whilst testing tracks etc.
perhaps if it were possible to turn it on and off?

Yeah I agree. It's a nice feature, but it lasts for too long with the big stacks. I suggested to Gordy that maybe a double vision would be better? (He didn't like it though, but I think its a good idea)

yeah i also think the blurred vision would be much better, or maybe the stability dropping significantly for a few seconds afterwards.

or don't have it all togther becuase its cheesy and makes the game look cheap. personally i think rider lean is more important then all of thses updates and i think alot of people would agree with me. but great update non the less i wasn't hating on you jlv im just eager for the rider lean

the whole getting knocked out is a cool idea and all..im not sure on it yet.....but with this we now need a rider bail button...being glued to a bike that is nosediving just isnt fair

I put the blackout thing in there to prevent you from rolling over and then just riding on. It's set to 20 seconds for the worst case now. Maybe cut it down to 5 or 10 seconds? I just don't want to see people land on their head and then keep going.

I think a lot of people would prefer not to have it but lessoning the time would definitely make it a lot better
