Changes:
  • Now correctly filters lowest resolution mipmaps for non square textures.
  • Scrollback in chat console. Use Page Up and Page Down to scroll.
  • Command history in chat console. Use the up and down cursor keys to go through the history.
  • Chat text is now smaller and is repositioned to the right of the results.
  • New command line option "--accurate-skip". This makes the scoring accurate when skipping ahead in a demo. It's disabled by default since it uses a lot of CPU.
  • When you're about to be lapped, the game now draws a blue bar on the bottom of the screen with the numbers of the riders about to lap you.
  • Prediction has been reduced by about 30 milliseconds in order to favor the rider in front during collisions.

Replace mx.exe or mxbin with one of the above files. I'd keep a backup of the originals since these aren't well tested.

The blue lap flag will be nice if people react to it.

The blue bar stands out quite well. Hopefully the n00bs dont ignore it.

Hopefully they actually get the snapshot. The new collision thing seems kind of weird, but I'm sure I can get used to it,especially if I'm the one getting hit. :D

SWEET!!!!

Since I run the demo racing Championships, the skipping ahead accurate scoring is amazing...if you skip ahead and go backward and go ahead again, is it still accurate?

so how does the blue bar work?
cause i just tried it out online.. I rode a slow lap, the guy in first was coming up behind but i didn't see a blue bar, same thing with all the other riders and the second lap.

Great update though :D

I think it comes up if the lapper passes the same gate as the lappee within a certain time frame.
