Ok, for the people having problems installing. You need to go to your mx simulator folder in program files and rename the last snapshot to mx.exe, right now it should be named 2008-08-28.exe or whatever the last snapshot you downloaded. That will fix the issue.

Hmm.

Textures look good, but I thought Alcrest's textures were a little funny. They look nice, but it almost looks like the lines are straight, and some of the grass seems a little unnatural.

Good work though. Looks a lot nicer than before.

Make sure the folder you are installing in has both mx.exe and zzzz.saf. If either is missing it won't let you continue.

I had the same problem- When you choose your current MXS folder, for some reason (for me, anyway) it added an segment to the filepath- thus making it a directory that didn't exist. So when I chose the filepath I wanted to install the update to, Once it filled in the text box, I went to the end and deleted the last "/MX Simulator" name and it worked fine.

So it went from this: C:\Program FIles\MXSimFull\MX Simulator
to this C:\Program Files\MXSimFull

Hope this helps some of you!

im having the same problem..my mx sim folder has both the mx.exe and zzzz.saf files in it but i still cant install it there?

It works for me now . Just rename your last snapshot as "mx", don't write "mx.exe", just "mx".
JLV you did an awesome work, your textures are really good looking, it's like you're playing MXU, it looks like a different game right now, it's a way more attractive.
