Typing "/pipe # # #" in game does affect the sound, but not as much as it used to. And instead of using the .pipeinfo files, it now uses .braap files, which use .soundtable files.

Just wait until JLV writes up what everything does, then we'll try and get stuff going

I have only tried with notepad++. Can you post what you put in? Maybe it's something you missed.

How do you find out what the CURRENT pipe info is for a bike?
and what does each of the numbers do to effect the sound, and not just complicated explanations, for those i could care less

thanks

pipe 1.75 0.1 0.4 0 0
pipe 2.5 0.3 -0.4 1 15

and called it:
yz125.pipeinfo

That looks right, are you sure it doesn't look like yz125.pipeinfo.txt?

I changed to name from ".pipeinfo" to ".braap" in the last snapshot. It's a little different now in that it needs to specify a sound table file.

Was wondering about that, just lock this topic then since it's not used anymore?

I'm not sure if the pipe effects are still relevant or not. They're still in there and work the same, but I don't know how useful it is now.

I think Tyskorn changed them. They don't make as big of a difference as they did before. http://mxsimulator.com/benchracing3/vie ... 80#p230380
