well, wilson is doing this final model, so I don't know when he will have it done. the final model will most definitely have a different layout. I will probably change the previous models uvs also for a final release.

so all the skins that are made now to the new models will have to be made again?

No, I am not going to redo the layouts for the previous models. Too many skins have already been made and the layouts are not that horrendous. You don't have to worry about that. The yzf will most definitely have a different layout though from the other models

i think stick with ddmx's layout as we have already three bikes out with that layout and its dead easy to skin! no point changing three bikes just for the yzf model

i dont care if the yzf layout is different but please keep the others the same it would suck to have to re skin all the bikes and we already have templates out so lets keep them the same

ok, here's the dilemma that we face. the layout that the current models have sucks. I really should have put more time into uv unwrapping them. the only reason that they would ever get redone is for reasons concerning putting together a portfolio. that is, in case i sent them to rainbow for them to see and they say, "hey, give want a job". So, with that said you don't have to worry about the current bikes getting a different layout because I'm not pursuing a job at rainbow, I've got a nice niche here at mxs. :D The new model SHOULD have the same layout as the old ones, but I don't know if it will or will not. I guess we will have to see. I can say that it should be very close to what the current models are.
