I've said this a couple times and I'll say it again. I think that the braking needs to be improved. The anti-locks feel way more realistic but they aren't even CLOSE to being as powerful as they need to be. In real life you can pretty much charge all the way into the corner. I love how the normal brakes stop you. but when you slam on them it makes the bike so unstable. It feels like you are on ice. Is there a way that there could be more traction with the normal brakes?

A realistic response, when do you ever slam on the front brake? That's a one way ticket for a dirt sample....

You engage the front brake progressively, with more pressure as the bike begins to slow down.

I say there needs to be more traction overall with the tires.I know JLV is working on some other stuff at the moment. But the traction needs to be way better. In real life when you have the back brakes locked up you don't slide as much as in the game.Maybe the tilemaps just need more traction? :?

That is true man I don't think anyone uses normal front brakes in this game just for that reason. If the normal brakes (rear) had more traction it would be alot better. I just dont like how if you lock up the rear brakes you can move the stick over just a little and the bike just highsides. I think the normal brakes either need more traction or the anti-lock brakes need to be way more powerful.

I could make the anti-lock slip threshold adjustable. I'll put that on my list.

I think the traction problem has to do with that you cant realy move the weight of the rider as much as in real life.

I prefer the realistic ride with stop wheelies off, antilock off, etc, but to be even remotely competitive online I have to turn on some of those aides. I guess maybe not everyone is as slow as I am with this game, but I trade off some realism for speed...

Yeah,I use Antilock Front brakes with stop wheelies to Front Only.I guess I could try turning down the braking torque and using stop wheelies at no again.

I think theres a few advanced settings that could use some realistic boundries. For example, 100 force and 0 dampening for rider verticle/horizontal movement. I have no clue what that equates to for strength/quickness of a rider, but it feels like it would be iRobot..nanosecond response with superhuman strength. Obviously thats an extreme, but its something that directly changes the physics of how bike can perform no?
