Can't find game data

Post by INKY0 »

When i go to download the 06-06-2012 snapshot here's what happens:

1. Download the Windows user one
2. Save file
3. Save file name as mx-2012-06-06.exe
4. Hit save
5. Hit okay to open Excutable File
6. Hit "Run" on the software.
And my problem happens here. The dialog box pops up and says,
"Can't find game data"

Any help on how to fix this? :x

You have to put the snapshot in the same place as the original game and all it's files. Either your personal folder or install folder

Here's what it says in the snapshot post:

Replace mx.exe or mxbin with one of the above files. The default location for mx.exe should be "C:\Program Files\MX Simulator".

I now have another problem.. I can't open my personal folder. It says,
" Windows is searching for MXS.exe. To locate yourself, click browse"
Any idea?

And to do that, i need to go to properties and in the target box, needs to be
"C:\Program Files\Mx simulator\mx.exe" --open-home
Correct?
