Can't see my own image.

Alright i'll admit, it is a stupid topic, but is it normal for you to post a image, ( after using photobucket ) and you not being able to see/view it?

If you are talking about the one in ssotw, I couldn't see it either. Had to open it in a new tab to view it.

Just quoted that post, you never put IMG tags around it. Once you have the link like that select it, then click the Img button under the subject name. Or you can use the forum embed code from the site you are using.

I did do that, it keeps doing that for some reason do you care if i try to put it in the right way ? Or will i be DQed

You'll be fine, but when I quoted that post to see what you did it didn't have any Img tags.

That's because JLV changed it to do that so when you quote someone there won't be the pictures all over.

I just opened the image in a new tab which took me to PB, I went to the share options and took the forum code. All you need is the direct link and you can wrap it in the Img tags. Not sure why it isn't working for you though.

Hmm, what I was doing was i clicked on the picture and it took me to a screen with the picture in it, and i took that URL and put it in the IMG IMG thing. Could that have been my problem?

Yeah, that url isn't the actual image it's just for the preview, in that preview you can right click the image and go down to copy url. Then it will work.

YZ, when I do that, instead of showing me the image , it just shows me the URL inside of the [ img ] thing. Is that how its suppose to be?

When you preview the post? If you preview the post it should show the image.

it doesnt, let me tell you exactly what i do in photobucket
1. click on image.
2.Share-More options
3.get link code.
4. copy the IMG for bulletion boards/forums
5.past inside the img things. and .... it comes up as just the url.
