Hi, this might be a stupid thing to say but when you click on movies on Fraps menu on the right do you have your fps down to 25 or 30??
If you do have it on one of them then click the one at the very bottom where you can set a custom fps and make it 999 then it should record without lag ^^

i just downloaded fraps and no mater what setting i have it on it always lags any one know why?

hhmm.. i think for fraps needs good pc.. when i filming mx sim with fraps its laging but i filming in slow motion with (.) and its not laging :) pretty sucks :x

make your game windowed in the graphics settings. it will record much smoother in windowed mode than it will in fullscreen. i can get a smooth 60 fps in windowed whereas in 1920x1200 i can only get it to record at about 10 fps.
