Re: Post your render for MXS here!
render time is not really what takes long. setting up the scene/lighting/materials is what takes usually most of the time
latest renders I did, you can saw the on my facebook already, but just in case you don't use facebook or you don't like my page yet

And a swing arm skin. It would be really cool if he made the scene.

Hi render guys . Can I ask you for a favour?
I would like to have some simple renders of stock bikes. It is for this browser game: http://www.mxchampion.com/blank.php?page=home
I need a stock ktm, honda, suzuki, yamaha and kawasaki with white numberplates.
For now the game uses this image:

Re: Post your render for MXS here!
where did you get those wheels? They looks similar to those from REV
Re: Post your render for MXS here!
Was the dirt done with displacement mapping, or are they individual stones?
Man, I hope Euclideons technology becomes viable in the next couple of years. Imagine having dirt like that in a game
Re: Post your render for MXS here!
yeah, that would be killer!
For your question. I explained it in the renders/animation thread a bit ago. it wasn't exactly this scene, but the method is same.I have 4 modeled rock/clods and then I place them on modeled terrain with scatter tool. Its not really that good looking yet, but you can play a lot with it and with some more work I believe it will looks good actually. Was thinking about displace map too, but the way I use gives me a lot more possibilities
