So I dont have my most up to date shading. I left it at work on accident. Didn't figure it'd matter this weekend

But this is an old version of my shading. First try, no tweaking yet.

Further Oneal HW releases are on hold....

I clicked this off while playing. It's amazing how good this looks in motion. It gives the game soooooo much more sense of motion

Gonna need to tone this down I figure...

But, this looks awful good.....

What bit type did you use? It looks kinda grainy or jaggedy. Definitely looks a whole lot better than normal shading though :D.

I think I just have the "height" of the map set too high.

Why do the tires seem very brown-colored, and not black. Even if you were trying to make them look dirty, it doesn't look good if the shaders make it look shiny.

We will be able to make them look better now. We can now make the dirty areas less shiny

Thatll be up to whoever modelled it (ie DDMX in most cases). I will be making specular and normal maps for the Yamaha's in the next few weeks

Is it worth putting so much time in to older models? Yes the yamaha's, because they are really good, but the old ones (like the honda) have pretty dodgy sections that the normal maps would almost highlight wouldn't they?
