So is there another more effective way of doing this??
As shown this method is rather bumpy

Nope. We need mesh collisions

So all the current collisions are made this way?
I was thinking of making a fair amount of Sx objects (only things I can think of).
Im open to object ideas for Mx.
I noticed you have FMX ramps so they must have some pretty nice col's in order to be ride-able.

They are just made of really tiny spheres.

The spheres are good enough for things you don't need to ride on.

Anyone have a working download of this?

Thanks!

Anyone want to upload it or send it to me?

I would gladly, but it's nowhere to be found on my hard drive (ironically enough) and the version I have saved in VBexpress is not working...

Checkerz updloaded another one in the scripts thread. It works slightly differently, you can have different sized spheres and you have to place them manually or duplivert them but it works.

ddmx wrote:Here is the program I've been using to make the ramps with. Well, I shouldn't say this program exactly, Servatis translated the logic into C# (in about 15 minutes!!) and so now you all can make complicated collision files for your models. Enjoy!

What it does:
It reads the .jm file and places a sphere of designated radius, friction, spring force, and dampening, at each vertex location for your model. The .shp file is put in the same directory with the same name as the .jm file.
hey ddmx,
was just messaging you wondering if you still had this. would be much appreciated if you could reply back letting us know if you do or do not have it.

thanks, much appreciated

for the people intersted.

I uploaded it to again to my mediafire account.

If someone with the power and willingness wants to edit the link on the first post that would be nice. Otherwise, it's right here.

well. apparently thats the file with the souce code.

doesn't matter, the executable is right there (and the code is only a few lines anyway).
