Have you got the latest snapshot? Because if you don't, it will be trying to render non power of 2 images, which will cause a bad frame rate. The latest snapshot automatically resizes them.

I have the latest blank track, so I don't know why there should be a problem...
Anyone know which other tracks have those textures?
