If you are releasing an updated version of the track, heres a few things:

1) Get lower poly versions of the off track stuff. Just riding by myself, the poly count was 160000. The bmw itself has like 8000 triangles!
2) Get rid of all of those grass billboards. Removing the billboards gets me a good 20-40 fps extra. Place more grass models
3) Use the files below. I've done custom mip maps so detail isn't lost, and ive made the grass lods so the grass rises out of the ground instead of just appearing
4) You could probably halve the dimensions of alot of the textures.
5) The main house has some bad edgesplitting and hidden face issues. Whoever made it should fix it.

(BTW, anyone can use these for the time being, just place all the files into the statue folder. It wont effect server connectivity)

Wow DJ thats some awsome work ...
I really apreciate you doing that ...I tottally didnt expect it.. The house and garage models barelly got finished Wilson and wheels are busy doin other things..So I didnt push them to finish all that much..I am very happy that they took time to help me...As for the car model...Twister made it for a different game and was graciouse enough to let me use it..
1 thing though to keep in mind ...I really never intended this track to be raced on ..as it is a compound for training in RL or else I would have been more cautiouse with the poly count on things...What I invisioned was 2 buddys having a fun time just goofing off or battleing ...

I would like to talk to you further about this to get your advice on some more things If you care to...
Thanks again
