Go with the kxf 250. Ive had both the '08 and '09, and am now riding the '10. Both of them worked perfectly, ran great, no trouble. Can't go wrong with a kawasaki

2010 Yamaha. I know you are looking for a 09 and 08, but the 2010's are selling cheap, and are seem like they are strong bikes. But for 09, go with Kawasaki.
