Heading up to Melbourne F1 today. Hopefully we can catch the last practice session in the afternoon.

Have fun watching 22 cars go single-file for like forever...

PS : yes, I've been to 3 F1 GPs in Montmelo (2005, 2007 & 2008). Sound is kinda cool, watching them slow down and go through corners is astounding... but it gets boring after like 15 minutes

F1 battles??

You have 4 kinds of battles...
· Damn old races (like Arnoux-Villeneuve for 2nd at Dijon-Prenois)
· Senna being a douchebag (lots)
· Schumacher being a douchebag (some)
· Sudden or epic downpours (they have a hard time getting consistent so overtaking becomes easier)

Main problem with F1 nowadays is that they're sooo consistent it's kinda impossible to overtake someone. Why?? Because you have to be faster than the guy in front of you. Most F1 guys are equally fast in both qualifying and racing so it's hard to find a slower guy to overtake him. A F1 race with the full reversed grid (with HRT cars up front) could be just epically awesome

You can't go to a Gp just expecting to have a boring race, when I went to Motogp there was a huge chance to see Rossi racing alone but then people crash, make mistakes and there you go, Tamada wins it and still awesome. People just like racing, or cars or f1 tech or just the noise.

I know all data except for one... what's a S10?? I know it's a car but I can't remember the brand and model... maybe a Camaro??

This is and S10 and its pretty much the exact look i'm going for except without a tanneau cover.

What kind of racing? Autocross? Short Circuit? SCCA?

Why not just get a cheap sedan like a Saturn SL1 or Dodge Neon, gut it, and go to town?

I can't buy a small car. I need something to haul my bike around. That's my main reason for an S10. I don't mean a FULL cage, just something to reinforce the roof and reduce body roll.
Ill just be racing local short circuit races, but that's only if I even decide to race the thing.
