To change a spring? Took me an hour and 15 to get the subframe and everything off, change the spring, and put everything back together. While I was at It I greased my linkage...

No seriously. Theres a clip on the bottom of the shock, under the spring, that you take off. Slide the spring and the plate off, slide the new spring back on, put the plate back on, Clip back on, and slide the plate back into position. That's how I did it on my 09 KXF. Took me 5 mins once the shock was off the bike.

You going for a holiday? If i were you i would save up further and go with friends when you're 21 or something, will probably be a much better experience then, thats what im most likely going to do.

so im looking at buy some new boots. im going to get either astar tech 10s or gaerne sg12s. anybody have sg12s and can comment on the durability?

sg12's over t10's everyday of the year. I have freinds that switched from t10's to sg12's and wont ever go back. T10's are really plasticy aswell.
