Real MX Vid's

I've heard conversation coming out of animal pens that is more intelligent than what is going on in here.

Here's some helmet cam footage from Sunday at Kahoka. The first one was taken at about 8:00 AM, before a bunch of people showed up and you could still jump some stuff. Still frost on the track. The second was probably around 11:00. There were 200 bikes there by noon and more came in afterwards. I didn't get there til 2:00 so the track was pretty much beat when I got there. Ruts in corners more than axle deep and frame deep ones in low spots. Not a smooth spot on the track when I got there. Still loads of fun though.

It's amazing. It really sucks it still might not be open next year. It needs to be raced. Mike put a lot of work into that track over the years, but I guess he just got burnt out on running a track. It started out pretty much all hard pack clay but there's a couple good size sawmills just down the road, so he hauled lots of sawdust in over the years and eventually the dirt became pretty much perfect. Just about anyone you ask who has ridden there will tell you Kahoka has the best dirt in MO, if not the entire midwest.

There are all sorts of stories of pros showing up to race there and get showed up by the midwest guys, most notably Heath Voss. There have been several four stroke nationals there in the past and Mike has been asked to host one again for 2013, not sure if he will though. Rusty Holland raced one of those four stroke nationals and was quoted as saying it was, "the roughest damn track I've ever ridden." Adam Chatfield rode there once and supposedly said it was his favorite track in a RacerX interview. I tried to find that interview but didn't have any luck. Pretty sure Dungey ran a LLQ there once as well when he was racing B class. Apparently he stomped everybody.

The lime green seat on the KTM is questionable.

Thanks. Yea track is fun but i don't ride it very often because its very boring after a while because there is no challenge on this track. No big ruts and all curves are nearly the same. :(
