It won't. Lawrence's days as a contender are over, and he won't be anything for Dungey to worry about.

I won't doubt Jlaw's ability or talent, August. But in terms of chasing down Dungey, don't see it happening. Top 5s are very possible.

I don't want to fight, so I'll just politely say that I don't think we'll see anywhere near a top 5 from Lawrence.

If he is training, on a decent bike, and has his head on straight. Is there any reason he can't be top 5?

Yes, a lot of talented riders have proofed that you can't get yourself 100% prepared for racing without actually doing it.
Also I want to say that if you're out of the game for such a long time that it is nearly impossible to get back at the level that your talent actually allows you. Lawrence just wasted his talent by not being fully dedicated.

Also a lot of sportsmen/women have delivered proof that a comeback after retirement (not injuries) don't work out fine. Michael Schumacher for example, in uhm, 40-50 race's? he only beated his own teammate twice ...

My guess, is that he will be happy if the take's points in the first couple of rounds. And maybe top-10's at the end of the season.

i figured they would move the whoop section, but they straight up scrapped the whole thing and started over
