BFBC2 is $5 on Steam. The game is awesome, and everyone plays more tactically than on BF3.

A few nice Free-To-Play games:
War Thunder

Heroes and Generals

Just tried the Heroes and Generals the first time today and the matchmaking is kinda horrible, but when you get into it it's pretty nice.

just installed heroes and generals this evening.
eah it's pretty cool but also very imbalanced. shot a guy in the chest with an M1 Garand and he was just going about on his merry way. while an MG42 from accross the map mows me down.
a lot of the maps are really open as well so a bunch of snipers sitting across a river is just no fin when all i have is a rusted bycicle and an M1G.

I like the combat overall though the time you need to take to aim really makes you move from cover to cover more than other shooters.
