Downhill/Freeride thread

I've heard conversation coming out of animal pens that is more intelligent than what is going on in here.

One of my riding buddies just picked up one of those frames not too long ago. He loves it.

The other day i was at my local trails and decided i'd hit the big dirt jumps up top. Soooooo much airtime. The jumps are in this video:
The last one (after the massive wooden berm) is currently in 3 pieces

I know a guy who's been there, said it was awesome and that he's going back soon.

Oh and when i went to the nats a few months ago i ended up 16th in u17s. Woulda won u15s! Sucked being forced up an age group when i was still "under 15"

woow, sweet jumps and rides!

i´m decieded to build a bike, altrought i´m in a super tight budget:
what i have planned:
Fork: Suntour duro fr20 / durolux
Frame:Santa cruz bullit
Rims: sun ringle mtx
Cranks: raceface northshore, diabulous or similar
Stem+bars: sunline vone os + any decent stem

something like that, what other frame could be cheap to goe first?
i´d like a 2006 66 but still too expensive and i´d rather ride the bike soon xD

Just picked up some spinergy fall line rims. they look freakin sick! like moto rims for dh. Also, don't buy deemaxs, broke em at one of the easiest tracks in my area. They are definitely not what they're all cracked up to be....

Selling my 07 p2 dirt jumper to get a dh bike. Let's see what's in my best interest.
giant ac1 for 475
Kona Stinky for 400, needs work
Balfa bb7 for 350
kona stab for 600
To all the guys who know there sh*t, which is my best bet?

Looking closer at everything, i'm gonna go for the stinky or the giant. Any opinions?
