But up until today it was impossible to have anything over bike 5, and I was still getting smoked on the starts with bike 5.

It wasn't impossible, you could always buy them. I can guarantee you there is no secret turbo start.

Since I don't currently have internet on my phone, I can't unlock bike #4.

"But wait, you can buy the next bike for $4.99 and then the next bike and then the next bike and then..."

So far I like it. I kind of wish I could try the other bikes and see how they are though. I'm not much of a fan of the micro transactions like paying for your bike number, paying for different bike/gear colors, etc. I like the idea that they're going for with unlocking bikes, but I simply wish there was a way that didn't involve the internet and actually playing the game.

No. It's freemium. You can pay for upgrades. Or work for them. People who pay don't get an advantage because you can unlock the same bikes for free just by playing the game. If it was I obtainable then it would be annoying.

And mark you could unlock bike 6 before today because the game has been out for 4 days now. It came out Sunday evening. Even though it wasn't supposed to come out til Thursday.

How do I get bike 5? It says race on country leaderboards but in order to race against someone I have to pay.. Do I really have to pay?

Hahahah. Hoffmans the easy target. I'm sitting here cussing dupuis, nick Schmidt, and graffunder because I'm batling with them to get the top 15 for California in Jam. So close. I should be in div 1 easy for the red bull helmet.

With the jam races to unlock the last bike. Does that mean we have to wait like 3 more weeks to get it ?
