Mental ray in 3d`s max with both final gather and global ilumination enabled
i`d love to learn vray tho, and blender cycles too xD

Nice render Mace-x !
start learning hard sculpt on Zbrush ... I'm not satisfied about the character design

That's pretty sick Maxime. I would say make it smoother and have sharper more distinct edges and then actually skin it. I think it could end up looking cool

I don't think you skin Zbrush models... You'd either paint it in Zbrush, or model another one and bake norms from the Zbrush sculpt. Nice job btw!

Thanks Maxime!
i like your character, i`d suggest to do the edges a little bit sharper and the surfaces a little bit flatter but with curves, i dont know if i explain myself
nice work tho!

Ya you can it's called re-topoing. Which is basically drawing a low poly within the bounds of the high poly, in this case a sculpt in Zbrush. Most characters for games are done in Zbrush.
There are also other applications such as 3d coat and such that you paint it in 3d also.

Thank you!
Thank you for the advice
Need to fix a lot of things, it's just a basic drawing... Now, I'm cleaning my model.
In a first time, I'm going to export my object in 3ds max and make materials with Vray.
After, I probably retopologizing and make a "low poly" version of this model to animate this character .Nothing is sure yet...
