Asus g55vw connectivity problems

So i got an Asus gv55 at the beginning of September and today when I woke up it wasnt connecting to the wifi. All of the other devices in the house are working fine. After trying many things I called asus and they had me wipe the computer clean after backing everything up and restoring it back to factory settings. This was a major pain in the ass and didnt run very smoothly either. AND it didnt fix the problem... Looks like I am going to have to send this to Asus. Anyone else had issues like this before? I really dont want to send it off and have to survive school for two (or more) weeks without it, although it looks like a hardware issue, and im SOL.
